Little Key Press publisher and editor Elizabeth Mitchell launched a Kickstarter for Clocks: a speculative and dark fiction anthology. The Kickstarter reached its goal early in April and ends on May 8, 2026. The anthology features stories from HWA Oregon members Katherine Quevedo, Niyyah Ruscher-Haqq, and Sarah Walker. The book is expected to ship this summer.
Tenebrous Press has signed a distribution deal with Independent Publishers Group (IPG) that goes into effect June 1, 2026, and recently announced the complete table of contents for YOUR BODY IS A FEVER DREAM, their forthcoming charity anthology and spiritual sequel to 2022’s wildly successful and acclaimed YOUR BODY IS NOT YOUR BODY.
Proceeds from YOUR BODY IS A FEVER DREAM will go to the Trans Legal Services Network and Trans Doe Task Force. YOUR BODY IS A FEVER DREAM is out October 6, 2026, and will be celebrated with in-person events around the Portland area. Preorders are open now.

Larina Warnock’s poem “Why You Don’t Buy Your Wife a Dishwasher For Her Birthday” was published in the February 9, 2026 issue of Strange Horizon.
Larina participated in seven panels at Norwescon 48 in SeaTac, Washington early in April, including “High School is Hell: High School Heroes and Villains” and “Everyone Should Write Poetry (Yes, You.)”

J.S. Douglas’s short story “Lifeblood” was published on Creepypod. Her story was narrated by Megan McDuffee.
