This chapter of the HWA celebrates, supports, and promotes the work of Oregon and southern Washington horror writers and publishing professionals.
- Our chapter meetings are held on the third Sunday of each month at 6 p.m. via Google Meet.
- Our book club meetings are held on the last Sunday of each month at 6 p.m. via Google Meet.
We also host private and public in-person events for our members and the community, and our table with information about how to join our chapter and our members’ books can be found at various events throughout the year.

Halloween approaches and we have an event-filled schedule! See below for all our happenings.
At our chapter meeting in October, Rebecca M. Zornow talked to us about creating our own author business plans, and she also shared some very cool facts about ravens. HWA Oregon members can watch the recorded talk soon.
