An avid reader and viewer of horror, science-fiction, and fantasy, Simone grew up on a diet of Creature Features and Speed Racer cartoons on Chicago’s WGN-TV. She’s played role-playing games since the late 1970’s and was a major writer on the 2005 multiple Ennie Award winning A Game of Thrones RPG. She currently plays Amber Diceless RPG and other dice-light games and has organized more than 30 RPG conventions. Her first published horror story will appear in The Cozy Cosmic from Underland Press in October 2023.
