This chapter of the HWA celebrates, supports, and promotes the work of Oregon and southern Washington horror writers and publishing professionals.
- Our chapter meetings are held on the third Sunday of each month at 6 p.m. via Google Meet.
- Our book club meetings are held on the last Sunday of each month at 6 p.m. via Google Meet.
We also host private and public in-person events for our members and the community, and our table with information about how to join our chapter and our members’ books can be found at various events throughout the year.

Press the “Edit profile” button. Scroll down to the “Public Information” section. Select the Oregon chapter under the “Are you a member of an HWA chapter?” dropbox. Undertone

Where: Beaverton theater
What: We’re meeting to see the new horror film Undertone at a movie theater in Beaverton. The movie premiered at Fantasia in 2025 to critical acclaim, and was quickly picked up by A24. Buy your own ticket soon. HWA Oregon members, contact us for details.
